AFS has automated the primary and secondary market for capital notes for the Central Bank of Afghanistan by creating a secure online trading system.
AFS is working with international partners and the Central Bank expand the program into offering other securities as well. In particular, an active sukok (bond) market would allow the sustainability of the Islamic mortgage project by continuously raising long term funds.
